I graduated from Warren County High School in 2001.

I received my Associate of Science degree from Motlow in December of 2011.

I went on to receive my Bachelor of Science from MTSU in December 2013.

I received a Masters of Arts in science education from Western Governors University in 2016.

I completed 8 weeks of student teaching at Warren County Middle School teaching 8th grade science. I completed 8 additional weeks at Warren County High School teaching biology honors and anatomy and physiology. I started at CCCHS in January 2014 and am currently teaching biology and biology honors.

I live on the Warren County/Dekalb County line. It's an hour drive to work each day, but I love the people I work with, so the drive is worth it! I am married and have two sons- one is a junior at Warren County High School and one is 4. We also have a boxer named Bo and several fish. I love to read and watch The Walking Dead
