Haley Miller

This week’s Coffee County Central High School “Student of the Week” is senior student, Haley Miller. Haley has demonstrated throughout high school that she is a conscientious and highly motivated student, having a 4.0 cumulative grade point average. She is a first baseman for the Lady Raider softball team. Softball Coach McWhorter is extremely proud of Haley. He describes her as a hard worker and a generous, caring, and respectful young lady. He added that she always has a smile on her face and has the ability to put a smile on the face of others as well.

Haley was elected this past August to serve as the 2018-19 President of the Manchester/Coffee County Teen Council. Through that role she has been able to positively impact our community through her work in recreation department activities such as lock-ins, Anti-Smoking Night, and Amazing Family Night. Additionally, Haley devotes much of her time to work for those with special needs in activities such as Night to Shine and the annual Dusty Elam Foundation Benefit. After high school, Haley plans to attain an Associate’s Degree at Motlow State Community College, receive a psychology degree at a 4-year college, and then ultimately earn a doctorate degree allowing her to work as a child psychologist. Congratulations and best wishes to our “Student of the Week”, Ms. Haley Miller!
