Noah Watkins

This week’s Coffee County Central High School “Student of the Week” is junior student Noah Watkins. Noah excels academically, even with a rigorous schedule of advanced placement and honors courses. Noah’s AP Physics teacher, Mr. Higdon, has been particularly impressed with Noah’s never taking the easy way out and choosing to challenging himself.   Mr. Higdon cited a good example being that Noah built a working violin for a physics project this year.   Mr. Higdon added that, “Noah does everything with a positive, easy-going, encouraging attitude.”

Noah is a leader in a variety of school-related activities. He is president of the Interact Club as well as secretary for Beta Club.   He is quarter master for band and dance captain for show choir. He is also student ambassador for the Student Government Association.   After High school, Noah would like to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and study engineering or mechatronics. Congratulations to our “Student of the Week”, Noah Watkins!
