Lillie Holt

The Coffee County Central High School Student of the Week is senior Lillie Holt. Lillie, daughter of Janice and Jeff Holt, has maintained an exemplary GPA and an excellent attendance record throughout her high school career while taking Advanced Placement, honors, and Dual Enrollment classes. According to her Advanced Placement English teacher, Mrs. Rhonda Winton, Lillie is very appreciative of the instruction she receives, and “she is also one of the most polite students in my class.”

Lillie is involved in Interact and SKILLSUSA where she participates in many community service projects. This year she has planted trees at our local Fred Deadman park, and she has sold t-shirts to benefit the Dusty Elam foundation. Lillie also cleans the community library twice a week before school. Although she may be busy with community service and a part-time job, Lillie found time to apply for Governor’s School for Industrial Engineering, and she was accepted. Lillie spent a month over the summer in STEM, skills, and industrial engineering classes and had an opportunity to tour the Knoxville airport. This experience helped Lillie make her decision to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is excited to pursue a degree in architecture and enjoy the beautiful UT campus. Lillie looks forward to kayaking on the river that runs alongside the campus. Coffee County Central High School is very proud to have such an involved, ambitious student, and we are certain her preparation at CCCHS will lead her to a bright future.
